Dear GWP Community,
Global Women’s Projects hopes that some of you got to enjoy the GWP booth at Annual Conference. A big thank you to Pearl Miller, a former steering committee member who worked with the booth, as well as Anna Lisa Gross and Mary and Dave Wysong, who helped get supplies there and back. You can see a picture of the booth below.
The booth, and everything GWP does, is all about supporting women who are working together around the world to provide support for themselves, their families, and their communities! Coordinating these efforts requires some time, and the steering committee got somewhat low in numbers this year with 3 members scheduled to continue this spring. There are 4 (4!!!) new members joining the steering committee this fall, but in the meantime, we realized more time support was needed, so Tina Rieman has stepped into a paid administrator role for us on a temporary basis, at least through fall, in order to keep things running.
