Dear Global Women’s Project Supporters,

Happy Spring!  🌷  We are glad to welcome the beginning of Spring, at least in our hemisphere.  The GWP Steering Committee met this month near Huntingdon, PA, and was grateful to get to participate in worship and Sunday Schools at Stone Church, and stay at Sara’s family’s home on a beautiful mountain.

Due to the ongoing and increasing financial support from all of you, GWP was able to provide grants to 7 different projects for 2018, including locations in Rwanda; South Sudan; Wabash, Indiana; Uganda; India; Nigeria; and Togo.

Challenges:  GWP is doing monthly challenges for our 40th anniversary year of 2018.  Our March and May challenges are similar, and we want to share them both now, so that you can plan ahead for May.

For March, you can make a donation or take an action in honor of a woman you admire for International Women’s Day.  (It was March 8, but it is never too late!)  Maybe it is Delores Huerta, or Malala Yousafzai, or Wangari Maathai who inspires you.  Or, maybe it is one of the GWP partners: Sister Stella, Esperance, Beena, Carol, Kay, or others!

For May, you are invited to honor Your Mother or a spiritual Mother or another Mother you admire with a Mother’s Day card that will be sent from Global Women’s Project on your behalf, with your donation to GWP [sent to Tina Rieman, 508 Miami St, North Manchester IN 46962].  In this way, women you know and love can be honored by building solidarity with all women!

Blessings!
