We are dust, belonging to the earthGreetings to friends of the Global Women’s Project!
Today is Ash Wednesday.
We are dust, belonging to the earth and strangely fleeting.
And we are also beloved, uniquely made, and connected to each other.
You’re invited to remember those connections during this season by using the GWP Lenten Calendar. Photos, scripture, and prompts to action will guide you to reflect on abundance, to tax some of your own luxuries, and to cultivate gratitude. Developed by two former Steering Committee members (Carrie Eikler and Anna Lisa Gross,) the calendar can be

International Women’s Day is Wednesday, March 8.
The 2023 theme is “Embrace Equity.”
Give equity a huge embrace by renewing your determination to “challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias, and seek out inclusion.” Take a look at the IWD website here: IWD: International Women’s Day 2023 campaign theme: #EmbraceEquity (internationalwomensday.com) and/or see some of the resources available on GWP’s website for International Women’s Day: https://globalwomensproject.org/worship-resources/
But celebrate International Women’s Day in ways that are your own!
