Hello,
In the midst of of some spring cleaning this past week I stumbled upon two letters that I received a couple of weeks ago from women in my home congregation who served as mentors to me throughout middle school and high school. In my time knowing them both of these women have advocated unceasingly for prison justice, planted more flowers around the Church building then I can even fathom, and beat me at many games of pool. These recent letters reminded me of the wonderful love, mentorship, and fierce leadership which women provide in the Church of the Brethen by which I have been so blessed.
As GWP continues to celebrate our 40th anniversary this year, we offer you the challenge this month of making a donation in honor our physical and or spiritual Mothers and perhaps send them a letter while you are at it!
