In the midst of Advent, we at Global Women’s Project are especially grateful for your donations throughout the year.  We invite you to celebrate our current projects:

—-The sisters in Rwanda purchased more land so they can grow pineapple in addition to ground nuts, tomatoes, onions, and cabbages.

—-Sister Stella reports that several girls with GWP scholarships are doing well in their schooling in Uganda.

—-Sisters in several Palestinian towns have access to valuable information because of a radio program on women’s issues.

—-Sisters in Wabash, IN, are providing support and mentoring to women in the county jail, hoping to reduce recidivism.

—-Sisters in Narus, S. Sudan now have sewing machines so they can sew items for market, thereby increasing their chance for self-sufficiency.

Your monetary gifts make all of this possible. But even more important to us is how you stand in solidarity with women all over the world:  sisters who are marginalized, oppressed, victimized by injustice, struggling to survive.

During this season of Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany, join us as we daily do our best to be mindful of our sisters all over the world.  See their faces, feel their presence.  Rejoice!

P.S.  If you still need a gift for that special someone who has everything, we invite you to make a donation to Global Women’s Project in your loved one’s name.  You can download a card with a photo from one of our projects on our website.
Thank you in advance for your support.  We are so grateful!
