Dear Friends,

As this week of giving and receiving unfolds, I’m reminded of this prayer from Jan Richardson:

    Bless the hands

    that leave the fingerprints

    that tell the story

    of every gift:

   of those who designed it

   and those who crafted;

   those who transported it

   and those who sold;

   those who bought it

   and those who profited;

   those who gave it

   and those who received.

   Hallow the circle

   of our giving,

   hallow the journey

   of our gifts,

   that in our offering

   we may bless

   the hands that give

   their life to us.

I’m grateful for GWP’s global partners, and for you, whose hands remind us of the breadth and intimacy of gifts given!

Don’t forget, if you’ve been coloring through Advent with the calendar, to send us a picture of your completed work. We trust that whether you’ve done it once or a number of times, it will have been a sign of our connections across cultures and miles.

Thank you for your continued gifts and support for Global Women’s Project.  We’re sending warm wishes for Christmas and the start of the new year!
